Our Warrior traces the life and legacy of Aboriginal activist Robbie Thorpe, a fearless voice in the fight for Indigenous sovereignty, justice and truth-telling in Australia.

COST:
$5 - $15 contribution for the film, vegan dinner, popcorn + cake and tea!

6pm: Film screening
~7pm: reflections on the film and First Nations solidarity
~7:15pm: stay on for tea, cake and chats.

The film shares the story of resistance, power and struggle for justice, and we’ll have dinner, and a panel discussion alongside the screening.

This event is a collaboration between Congee Club, @karu.naarm and @anakbayanmelbourne - diasporic groups for South Asian people, queer Asian community and Filipino youth, aiming to weave our stories and build solidarity with First Nations people on this continent.
